About the Church of Christ at Wabash:
The Church of Christ at Wabash is a non-denominational Christian Church within the
Restoration Movement. We are located in northeast Indiana and have standard
attendance of 60-75 people.

Summary:
The Minister/Evangelist of the Church of Christ at Wabash is to spiritually lead, feed,
and strengthen the body of Christ through living a Godly life, delivering doctrinal sermons, and interacting positively with the members here at Wabash, the brotherhood
beyond this congregation, and with the community of Wabash and its surrounding area.
Minister/Evangelist Requirements:
A man who:
- Meets the qualifications for an evangelist as laid out in the books of I and II
Timothy and Titus.
- Is able and willing to perform the duties of an evangelist as laid out in I and II
Timothy and Titus.
- Has a minimum of one year of experience as a minister/evangelist.
- Preferably holds a bachelor’s degree in Bible and Biblical Theology from a Bible
college associated with the Restoration Movement.
- Possesses strong listening, speaking, and writing skills.
- Is willing to submit to a background check.
Evangelist/Minister Description:
- Leads the congregation to grow to their full potential in Christ and evangelizing
the community for Christ.
- Preaches and teaches the Word of God both publicly and privately, including
Sunday morning and Sunday evening sermons and adult Bible classes.
- Develops and maintains good relations with the members of this congregation as
well as other Church of Christ members and leadership both in the local area and
beyond.
- Works to restore backslidden Christians.
- Encourages members of the Church during difficult times, including sickness,
death, family problems, etc.
- May conduct funerals and weddings according to guidelines agreed upon by the
leadership of the congregation and himself.
- Provides Biblical counseling when he is able and offers referrals when he is not able to counsel himself.
- Maintains regular office hours and is available to members of the congregation
and those seeking to become members.
Compensation package: $50,000-60,000 commensurate with education
and experience.
