The First Church of Christ, located in Bolivar, PA, is seeking an evangelist who is committed to proclaiming the Gospel message and the growth of God’s kingdom. Ideally, this would be a full-time ministry; however, consideration will be given to a bi-vocational evangelist.
We are a conservative congregation deeply rooted in the Restoration Movement. We are located in a rural setting in southwestern PA (about 60 miles southeast of Pittsburgh, PA). The congregation is self-supporting and has no debt. Sunday morning services are attended by approximately 75-80, with a Sunday school attendance of about 40.
We are seeking an enthusiastic, scripturally sound individual who is experienced in preaching and teaching from the pulpit as well as a classroom setting. Weekly services are held on Sunday morning and Sunday evening. The ideal candidate will be an individual who is willing to speak the TRUTH boldly while working with the leadership and members of the congregation to edify the flock as well as reach out to the lost.
The congregation has numerous Outreach Ministries and supports several missions.
