Preaching Minister (Part-Time)

Job Description

First Christian Church in Bradenton, Florida, is seeking a part-time Preaching Minister to partner with our part-time Education and Worship Minister to shepherd a congregation of senior adults with a seasonal attendance of 80+/week and summer attendance of 45+/week. Dan Smith is retiring after 12 years in the pulpit serving an active, enthusiastic congregation of believers who strive to learn more about Jesus Christ and draw others to Jesus and to our church family.

The position is 20 hours/week with responsibilities that include preaching, working with all the Ministry Teams to coordinate ideas and events, home visits, and shared responsibilities with the Education and Worship Minister to allow for vacation time, shared goals, and support of our church family.
